Spanning 26 kilometres, the Blue Bike Trail in the Boguchwała Municipality is a scenic route. It departs from the western suburbs of Rzeszów, going through the villages of Nosówka and Zgłobień with preserved old manor houses, to the hills of the Dynów Plateau near Czudec. From there, the trail goes through Mogielnica to Boguchwała on the outskirts of Rzeszów, in which you can see the Baroque palace of the Lubomirski family.

The general route of the trail is as follows: Kielanówka, Rzeszów city limits (0.0 km) - Nosówka (5.0 km) - Zgłobień (8.0 km) - Wola Zgłobieńska (12.3 km) - the road to the Millennium Cross lookout point (17.3 km) - Mogielnica (21.5 km) - Boguchwała (26.4 km).

The trail begins on the western outskirts of Rzeszów, on the edge of the valley of the Wisłok. From this point on, you begin to be surrounded by hills, initially not very steep, but getting steeper as you go. The terrain is a steady incline, so the first part of the trail is quite tiring.  The trail goes through two localities in which the former manor complexes have been preserved. The first one, from the mid-19th century, is located in Nosówka, while the other, which is older, is located in Zgłobień. In Nosówka, the preserved buildings include farm buildings, the manor house and the former school in which visitors can see ethnographic exhibits collected in a room dedicated to tradition. The manor complex in Zgłobień consists of an old, 16th-century Renaissance defensive manor house, later converted into a granary, and a later manor house in the Classicist style, built by the Straszewski family at the beginning of the 19th century. There is also a historic church here. From Zgłobień, the trail climbs upon hills which get higher and higher, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. You can leave the trail in search of burial mounds hidden in the forest, or climb the hill about 500 metres away from the trail, on top of which a 15-metre “Millennium Cross” has been erected. The place offers a most interesting panorama of Rzeszów and the Dynów Plateau. It can be reached by following a red trail.  Then, the trail takes you down to the village of Mogielnica, and from there to Boguchwała, where it ends. You can see the Baroque palace-and-park complex of the Lubomirski family, which used to be the summer residence of this magnate family, as well as a parish church from the 18th century. Boguchwała was founded in the 14th century, and in the 18th century it was granted a charter for several decades. In 2008, the locality again became officially a city owing to the dynamic urbanisation it underwent, as a result of which it is today virtually a suburb of Rzeszów.  There are still a few kilometres left from Boguchwała to Rzeszów, so closing the loop of the blue trail will mean a little over 30 kilometres in total. The route passes through a hilly area, which makes it quite tiring, but the reward for the effort are the sweeping views of the Dynów Plateau and the panorama of Rzeszów.

Points of interest along the trail:

  1. Boguchwała - Lubomirski Palace, historic church
  2. Zgłobień - manor complex, church
  3. Nosówka - manor complex
  4. Panoramic views of Rzeszów and the Dynów Plateau

The entire trail is suitable for bicycles with panniers/bike trailers. The trail uses solely roads with no motor vehicle traffic allowed or local roads with a low and very low vehicle traffic; no dangerous intersections. Trail offering outstanding vistas.
