In Chełmce, north-west of Kielce, the Baroque church of St. Mary Magdalene and St. Nicholas stands on a hill. Built in 1620-65, it replaced the former structure from the 14th century.
The village also has a defensive manor house, one of the oldest in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. Some sources refer to it as an Arian church, as it indeed used to play such a role in the past.
