Short sections of the trail overlap with the red cycling trail (Nowa Sarzyna). The Green Velo trail leads from Brzóza Królewska to the hunting palace of the Potocki family in Julin. The aforementioned sections are marked according to the standard of marking of tourist cycling trails. On other sections of the trail, you will see direction signs that are usually put on public roads. Near the most important tourist attractions there are tourist information boards. Riding down the trail, you take an unusual trip on the trail of heirs of Łańcut estates. A large part of the trail runs along forest roads that were used by aristocrats from Poland and Europe during hunts in the 19th century and the early 20th century. The trail starts on the slope of the midforest sandy hill where the Kołacznia reserve is situated; it is the smallest nature reserve in Poland, which occupies only the area of 10 a. This reserve is the only natural habitat of the yellow azalea in Poland, which is protected. This place looks the most beautiful in May, when the plant flourishes. Then the trail runs on a sandy and gravel road towards Wola Zarczycka. During World War II, the village was pacified, and more than 70 inhabitants were executed. This tragic event is commemorated by a memorial standing at the site of the execution. The next village on the trail is Brzóza Królewska – a typically agricultural area, from which the trail leads farther along forest roads. After around 12.5 km, turn right to Julin. From this point, the Green Velo trail leads to the former hunting palace of the Potocki family. The construction of the hunting palace was initiated by Alfred Potocki – the 2nd heir of the Łańcut estates. The irregularly shaped building was built of logs in the Tyrolean-Swiss style. It was often visited not only by its owners, but also by representatives of aristocratic families from Europe. During summer stays, hunts and evening parties with dances were organised there. Today the palace is no longer used and gradually falls into ruin. From the hunting palace, the trail leads north on a gravel forest road, by which tree stands and midland sandy hills are situated. At the first crossroads, turn right (east) and head straight for the reservoir in Brzóza Królewska. Here the trail closes the loop, and the last fragment of the trail leads to the Kołacznia reserve.
