Gallery On The Rospuda River Communal Culture Centre

Gallery on the Rospuda river of the Communal Culture Centre in Raczki was established in November 2006. The first event organised by the gallery was the “Sale of memories” exhibition which showcased the works of Wiesław Szmumiński, local artist from Suwałki.
The gallery is located on the ground floor of the Communal Culture Centre and covers an area of 48 square metres. It has an interdisciplinary character. It showcases the works of both professional artists (painters, photographers or graphic artists) and beginners, and organises local, educational or historical exhibitions. It’s also home for various events run by the culture centre, such as presentations, displays, concerts. On average, the gallery on the Rospuda river hosts 3 exhibitions per year.
