The blue bike trail in the Jarosław Municipality, spanning just over 40 kilometres, makes a loop, connecting two very interesting towns, situated in the San Valley and rich in monuments, Jarosław and Radymno. The trail offers of a lot of interesting sights, the terrain is rather flat, and the route follows mostly paved roads.

The general route of the trail is as follows: Jarosław, market square (0.0 km) - Sobiecin (4.7 km) - Wietlin (10.8 km) - Wysocko (12.3 km) - Radymno (20.5 km) - Łowce (26.7 km) - Chłopice (32.5 km) - Kidałowice (37.1 km) - Widna Góra (38.9 km) - Jarosław, market square (41.8 km).

Unfortunately, the trail is very poorly marked, and in several places it uses very busy roads. It is a good idea to bring a map or a GPS system. Due to the intensity of traffic, the trail is not recommended for family trips. The best approach is to start out on the right bank of the San. In this way, the cyclist will avoid having to climb up the steep stretch up Piękna Góra in the southern suburbs of Jarosław (more than 50 metres over a distance of approximately 1.5 km), and the last part of the trip will be going downhill. The trail begins at the market square in Jarosław. The numerous monuments of this city deserve a separate tour. From the centre, the trail goes over to the other bank of the San via a fairly busy road to Lubaczów. Fortunately, at the roundabout, the trail abandons the provincial road and heads up the San Valley, to the village of Sobięcin. The landscape in the area is typically agricultural, and the terrain remains flat until Radymno. Along the way, you can stop to see the old church in Wietlin and the palace in Wysocko, surrounded by a beautiful park. From this point, the trail follows a farm road for a few kilometres, crossing the river Szkło – a rapid right tributary of the San. Next, the trail takes quite a busy road to Radymno, where it leads the market square. The old town has numerous religious monuments and interesting architecture in the centre. From Radymno, the trail heads west, in the direction of the hills on the left bank of the San. The terrain becomes more varied. Along the way, the trail passes through a few villages – Łowce, Chłopice and Kidałowice, and for a moment it goes near the A4 motorway. In Łowce, you can see the old church, and in Chłopice – a preserved manor house with a park and another historic church. The hilly terrain which the trail goes over slowly descents towards Piękna Góra and Jarosław.

Points of interest along the trail:

  1. Jarosław - monuments, urban layout
  2. Radymno - monuments, urban layout
  3. Old churches and manor houses - Wietlin, Wysocko, Chłopice, Łowce
  4. Valley of the river Szkło

The entire trail is suitable for bicycles with panniers/bike trailers. The trail uses (in its entirety or in part) roads with average traffic volume. There is at least one dangerous intersection (with no bicycle crossing or traffic lights); probably not recommended for families with children.
