The yellow trail in the Lidzbark Warmiński Municipality is one of the bike trails marked out in this area. It is a recreational trail, good for MTB training. It is 30 kilometres long and well signposted. It starts and ends in the locality of Kłębowo, near the recreation centre on Lake Symsar.

It runs through a part of the Olsztyn Lake District with attractive landscape, going past valuable architectural monuments on the way, and partly running the vast Wichrowo Forest complex. The route runs mainly through dirt roads, which along with a fairly varied terrain requires cyclists to be in quite good shape.

The general course of the trail is as follows: Kłębowo, Świteź recreation centre (0.0 km) - Jurandowo (6.5 km) - Stryjkowo (13.9 km) - Wichrowski forest, turn of the trail (16.8 km) - Kochanówka (22.0 km) - Kłębowo, the resort of Świteź (29.5 km).

The trail starts in the locality of Kłębowo, at the Świteź Lake. There is a large youth hostel Świteź, there is a beach nearby and a place to rest. The first more interesting place on the route is Jarandowo. The trail runs here through the hilly, picturesque terrain, a scenic section of the road. Jarandowo is a typical village of Warmia with a history dating back to the first half of the 14th century. It is worthwhile seeing the 18th church with a red-brick tower, added in 19th century.

The rest of the route runs mainly on forest tracks through the village of Stryjkowo, approaching the locality of Wichrowo. The trail goes deeply into a vast forest complex, called the Wichrowo Forest. At some point, the cyclist may encounter signposting of bike trails that run to nearby town of Dobre Miasto. However, the route turns back to the east, leaving the Wichrowo Forests.

In the village of Kochanówka there is a large neo-Gothic church of 1918, which replaced the previous temple standing at the same place. In the village there are also roadside shrines specific to the Warmia region that are worth seeing. Then, through the small hamlet of Kierz, the trail returns to the Symsar lake, where the Świteź resort is located.

Points of interest along the trail:

  1. Historical churches, shrines, rural buildings in the localities along the route
  2. Landscape of the Warmia region
  3. Lake Symsar and Blanki
  4. The Wichrowo Forest complex

The entire trail is suitable for bicycles with panniers/bike trailers. The trail uses solely roads with no motor vehicle traffic allowed, or local roads with a low and very low vehicle traffic; no dangerous intersections. A recreational trail. A trail for lovers of mountain biking and off-road cycling.
