The trail of the trip starts in Górowo Iławeckie and leads through the Górowskie Uplands – the moraine ridge that clearly stands out among surrounding plains, with the average height exceeding 150 m a.s.l. On the way, however, there are no difficult approaches or large differences in height. From Górowo Iławeckie to Worłamki the trail leads on the provincial road no. 512 and then turns onto  a local road towards Bukowiec and forms a loop from that point. The next place on the trail is Bukowiec. Here you can also come across a historic church built at the end of the 16th century – a branch of the parish in Kandyty. Then the trail leads through desolate areas among picturesque glacial hills to Kandyty. It is worth noting a local church erected as an Evangelical temple in the 2nd half of the 16th century; it was destroyed in 1945 and later restored by Catholics in the 1980s. Near Dzikowo Iławeckie there is Zamkowa Mountain (216 m a.s.l.) – the highest peak of the Górowskie Uplands. The hill is covered with a deciduous forest; you can climb it by stairs and find the traces of the former earth fortifications on its steep slopes. At the foot of Zamkowa Mountain, there is an ecological site of the Dzikowo Iławeckie Forest Inspectorate, with an educational & natural path laid out in its territory. In the 1st half of the 20th century, Friedrich Wilhelm Bassel – a professor of the University of Königsberg, an outstanding astronomer who measured the location of around 50,000 stars – conducted astronomic observations on Zamkowa Mountain. Located farther on the trail, the small village of Dzikowo Iławeckie was a large estate encompassing a few manors at the end of the 19th century. The village was owned by the powerful Prussian von Schwerin family until 1945, when the local manor house burned down. The trail closes the loop in Bukowiec. The last section of the trail leads through Worławki back to Górowo Iławeckie.

The trail intersects the Green Velo cycling trail several times, giving many opportunities to modify the course of the trip.

Trail option (21 km):

An interesting variant of the trail is the return from Dzikowo Iławeckie along the Green Velo trail – after leaving the road towards Górowo Iławeckie, you must turn left at the intersection with the railway enbankment. The embankment will lead you to the town.
