The trip is packed with attractions and historic sites: churches, palaces, monastery complexes, manor houses. Each of the three destinations has at least a few interesting places to see, and all of them are surrounded with the beautiful nature of the Skierbieszów Landscape Park. The trip starts on the market square in Krasnystaw, close to the Baroque former Jesuit Church of St. Francis Xavier, from where the Green Velo trail runs east. Beyond the city limits, the forest section of the trail begins; it runs through the Skierbieszów Landscape Park and is quite difficult to complete in rainy weather. When you ride out of the forest, you must leave the trail at the forest edge and continue south towards Surhów. In this village, it is worth seeing the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Luke, a classicistic palace & park complex erected in the early 19th century, and a cemetery wall with shrines dating back to the turn of the 19th century. The next fragment of the trail runs beside the complex of springs in Kryniczki towards Orłów Murowany, where the remains of a medieval fortalice are situated by the road. Near the ruins of the castle, you must turn left towards the manor house and the outbuilding of the palace complex that once belonged to Count Kicki – the founder of the local basilica. Running among farmland and forests through picturesque loess landscape park areas, the road leads farther to Izbica – a settlement inhabited by a large Jewish community in the 18th century. A short distance farther, on the Wieprz river, there is a water mill with a power plant. The next important point of the trail is Tarnogóra – a settlement (formerly a town) with an interesting history and valuable historic sites, including a neo-Gothic & classicistic palace surrounded with a romantic park, the town hall built in the 2nd half of the 17th century and the 16th-century Church of St. Sophia containing historic sculptures and epitaphs. Past Tarnogóra, the trail of the trip meets the Green Velo trail again and leads north along with it towards Krasnystaw. This section runs through the land where trade developed dynamically in the modern era. The oldest traces of settlement found in this area date back to the Neolithic period. One of the most valuable archaeological discoveries was made in Romanów – a village situated on the trail of the trip. You can see it in the Regional Museum in Krasnystaw, as well as many other exhibits preserving the history of this land. The last section of the trail leads through a small bridge in the outskirts of Krasnystaw and then along the floodbank of  Żółkiewka and the Wieprz to the centre of the town. At the end of the trip, you can visit the Regional Museum in the building of a former 18th-century college.
