This relatively short trail allows you to visit a few interesting places, including Stubno, which is regarded as the Polish capital of the stork, and Chotyniec with a particularly valuable wooden Orthodox church inscribed on the UNESCO’s World Heritage List. The trip starts in the parking area near the Church of Our Lady of the Scapular in Stubno. In the centre of the village, there is a stork monument, and many nests of these birds can be found between the buildings. It is also worth seeing the manor that once belonged to the Myszkowski family; it is situated on the premises of the current horse stud. Then the trail leads through Stubienko to Nienowice. You can stop here to see an Orthodox church built in the early 20th century and a small water power plant on the Wisznia river. Another point on the trail of the trip is Chotyniec. The road to this village runs through two overpasses and one short tunnel under the A4 motorway. In the centre of Chotyniec, there is a historic wooden Orthodox church built in the early 17th century; surrounded by old trees, it is regarded as one of the most beautiful churches in Poland. Inside it, you can see a historic polychrome made in the 18th century with an incredible painting showing the Last Judgement. The rarely attended road leads from Hruszowice back to Stubno. When you complete your trip, you can test your horse-riding skills in the local horse stud.
