The trail of the trip leads through the middle part of Warmia along lakes and moraine hills. On the way, it is worth noticing the traditional building arrangement that is a distinctive element of this region, and historic churches. The first section of the trail leads to Żegoty – a village founded in the 14th century. Here you can come across a neo-Gothic church erected in the years 1909-1910. Inside the church, valuable pieces of sacred art have survived. The church premises are surrounded by a fence with four shrines, in which 19th-century Baroque folk sculptures are placed. Then the trail leads to Franknowo. In the centre of the village, there is a Baroque church; apart from it, eight traditional 19th-century and 20th-century Warmian shrines have survived there. The original architecture of the school building and the former railway station is also worth your attention. From Franknowo the trail leads farther to Jeziorany – one of the twelve Warmian towns that obtained civic rights in 1338. The medieval urban layout with a 14th-century Gothic church has survived here. It is worth seeing the Baroque interior of the temple, the main altar from the 1st half of the 17th century, and a knocker placed on the door to the sacristy – a unique piece of foundry art. The main street of the town is developed with tenement houses built at the turn of the 20th century. Another place on the trail is Radostowo – an old Warmian village founded in the 1st half of the 14th century. A valuable historic building is a 14th-century Gothic church with a wooden tower added in the 18th century. Then the trail runs through Blanki –  a village located on the lake of the same name – to Kłębowo. On the way, you will come across the PTSM Świteź hostel on Lake Symsar. A bathing beach is located nearby. The last section of the trail leads from Kłębowo to Lidzbark Warmiński. At the end of the trip, it is worth seeing the town. The historic elements that have survived here include the medieval urban layout, town walls with the High Gate and the historic building arrangement of the market square, including the 19th-century town hall. The most recognisable historic site in Lidzbark Warmiński is the Castle of Warmian Bishops – one of the most valuable objects of this kind in Poland.

Trail option (61 km):

You can prolong your trip by riding from Jeziorany to Radostowo through Krokowo. Near Lekity, around 4 km from the centre of Jeziorany, there is Holy Mountain (179 m a.s.l.) – a legendary place of religious cult of Prussians. Its peak is an attractive viewing point.
