You can park your car in the large car park by Borków Reservoir.
Technical description
To begin with, we would suggest taking the northern shore of the lake. After a few hundred metres, the asphalt path gives way to a dirt path, with the surface changing again around the pier, close to the Uroczysko campsite. At the mouth of the Belnianka River, take the left, where a path through fields will lead you to the little village of Słopiec. You could also keep going straight ahead to get there, staying close to the small Belnianka River. In Słopiec, you will see a historic manor and the ruins of a mill. Take the bridge across the river and turn right.
After 800 m, leave the asphalt road by turning to the right. A short stretch of a dirt path will lead you back to the water’s edge. Take the comfortable asphalt road back to the car park, passing the pier, beach, water sports equipment rental points and seasonal bars. At the dam, there is an MOR (Miejsce Obsługi Rowerzystów – Cyclist Service Point) on the Green Velo route.
Attractions along the way:
Borków Reservoir
Borków is a small resort town situated among forests, with a reservoir on the Belnianka River. The maximum water depth is 2.5 m, and the beach has a nice bathing area and a pier that is illuminated at night. A promenade has been constructed along the shore, where there are several water sports equipment rental places, as well as bars, restaurants and beach volleyball courts. The “Amazonka” horse riding centre is nearby, and there are also a number of accommodation facilities available in the area.
Słopiec – manor house, mill ruins
Słopiec was formerly a mill village located at the fork of the Belnianka and Trupień rivers, and the ruins of a water mill from the second half of the 19th century have survived to this day. There is also another valuable historic monument located nearby: the manor of Kraków bishops from 1711.
